Every year, the Madeira Beach community comes together to work toward a common goal: donate as many proceeds as possible to the City of Madeira Beach and Pinellas County Schools. What started as a dream has now become a significant charity event. Every year, Shoreline Island Resort welcomes more and more returning guests who plan to visit the John’s Pass Seafood Festival. Flavors of The Gulf
Taste your way through Tampa Bay by sampling treats from some of the best restaurants in Madeira Beach. Amplify the savory flavors with the perfect craft brew sample. Several breweries “near me” will be in attendance such as Daughters Brewing, Big Storm Brewing Co., Brew Bus Brewing, and more! Purchase one ticket for $40 or two tickets for $60! Proceeds from Flavors of The Gulf will be donated to A Reel Future. This non-profit shares knowledge of fishing and the great outdoors to children in need.
Seafood Fest 5K
Lace-up your running shoes and head to the beautiful Madeira Beach! Every registered runner gets $15 in vendor tickets to spend at the John’s Pass Seafood Festival. The race registration runs on a first come, first served basis. Plan to arrive an hour (or so) early to ensure your spot in the race. Awards will be given to the overall male and female and first through third place in age groups 14-years-old and under, as well as 75-years-old and up. A portion of the race’s proceeds is donated to Ready for Life. This non-profit organization works to support youth homelessness prevention, education, and employment.
Halloween Block Party
It’s never too early to prepare for Halloween! The 6th annual Halloween Block Party and Costume Contest will take place at the festival’s main stage. The competition winner will receive $5,000 and the title of “Halloween God!” As part of the All Hallows’ Eve celebration, DJ Da Beav will throw down tracks from the best in dance and top 40 music. Whether you’re prepared to scare or just want to chill in the crowd, you’ll have a great time at this pre-Halloween celebration.
